Trine Schmidt

Trine Schmidt is Policy Advisor at International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and part of the SDG Lab team, responsible for convening the Geneva SDG community. Prior to joining IISD and the SDG Lab, Trine held positions as Advisor for Sustainable Development at the Nordic Council of Ministers and Associate Expert at the UN Department of Global Communications facilitating collaboration and partnerships for the SDGs.

Trine holds a Master’s degree from Copenhagen University in Global Development and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School.
